Kyrgyz American Foundation launches “Kyrgyzstan COVID-19 Relief” – an international fundraiser to support the Kyrgyz Republic in its fight against the coronavirus outbreak.
The foundation's fundraiser campaign aims to raise funds to purchase ventilators for hospitals and personal protective equipment (PPE) for the country's healthcare workers and other supplies such as gloves, masks, goggles, face shields, gowns, and aprons. As you may know, Kyrgyzstan’s health system is critically under-resourced even in the absence of a world-wide pandemic. All money raised by KAF will go to strengthening the country’s healthcare system, even if it cannot be delivered in time to deal with the immediate affects of the COVID-19 epidemic.
The Kyrgyz American Foundation is an officially registered 501 c (3) nonprofit organization, with the mission to strengthen civil, humanitarian and cultural ties between Kyrgyzstan and the United States by advancing intercultural awareness and cooperation. While preserving the multicultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan, KAF strives to cultivate a strong sense of identity for Kyrgyz Americans living in and contributing to the US, through unique cultural and educational initiatives.

All private donors will receive program acknowledgement and invitations to the Foundation’s public and private events in its Eurasia Cultural Center in Murray Hill, Manhattan.

KAF also accepts matching gift donations, so be sure to ask your company if they offer this option for a chance to double your contribution.
